How to use
- Load a PDF and choose text, image, shape, arrow, freehand, or symbol tools.
- Click or drag on the page to create objects; return to Select to move, resize, duplicate, or delete them.
- Export project JSON when pausing work, then create and review the edited PDF when finished.
Privacy
Input and files are processed in the current browser tab. Mingmist does not receive the content unless you independently share the result elsewhere.
Limitations
This tool adds overlay content only; it cannot directly modify, delete, or reflow original PDF text and vectors. Added objects are flattened into transparent PNG overlays, so added text is not searchable. Normalize pages with 90°/270° rotation before editing; encrypted PDFs must be unlocked first.
FAQ
Can it directly edit existing PDF text?
No. It adds new text, images, and graphics over the page without reconstructing or rewriting original text objects.
Does added content remove the source text layer?
No. The output preserves the source PDF pages and places a transparent raster overlay above them.
Does project JSON contain the PDF?
No. It stores added objects and source-file metadata only; the same PDF must be loaded when reopening.
