Privacy
Input and files are processed in the current browser tab. Mingmist does not receive the content unless you independently share the result elsewhere.
Limitations
Meeting a hard size limit may require rasterizing pages and reducing resolution. This removes searchable text, links, forms, bookmarks, and some accessibility information. Extremely long documents may still be unable to meet 4 MB at readable quality.

Will it really be below 4 MB?
The tool targets 3.8 MB and progressively reduces size. Ordinary learning-portfolio documents should meet the limit; extremely long documents report the smallest result rather than claiming success.
Why target 3.8 MB instead of exactly 4 MB?
Upload systems may calculate size differently, so roughly 0.2 MB of headroom is reserved.
Will searchable text disappear?
The tool first tries to preserve text. Pages are rasterized only if structural repacking cannot meet the limit, and the result clearly reports this.
What should I inspect after compression?
Review small text, charts, QR codes, portfolio images, and page orientation, and keep the original file.
