How to use

  1. Add the problematic PDF and provide a password if necessary.
  2. Choose page range, DPI, and failed-page handling.
  3. Download the rescued PDF and CSV report, then verify missing pages.

Privacy

Input and files are processed in the current browser tab. Mingmist does not receive the content unless you independently share the result elsewhere.

Limitations

If PDF.js cannot open the document at all, the browser version cannot rebuild cross-reference structures or deeply repair objects. Output does not preserve original text or interactive structures.

FAQ

Can it repair every damaged PDF?

No. Only content PDF.js can still parse and render can be recovered; missing or truncated data cannot be restored.

Why is the output image-based?

Raster rebuilding avoids many damaged objects and structures, at the cost of text, links, forms, and other interactive information.
