Privacy
Input and files are processed in the current browser tab. Mingmist does not receive the content unless you independently share the result elsewhere.
Limitations
Raw-byte scanning can produce false positives or negatives. This is not a malware scanner, forensic tool, legal compliance proof, or complete PDF object inventory.

Does a clear audit prove the file is safe?
No. The tool checks parseable metadata and common structural markers; it cannot prove the absence of all hidden data.
What is the difference between the two cleanup modes?
Metadata cleanup preserves structure; strict sanitization rebuilds page images only and removes interactive content and text layers.
