How to use

  1. Load the PDF and drag over sensitive regions page by page.
  2. Confirm region counts, output DPI, and quality.
  3. Create the copy and inspect every page at high zoom before sharing.

Privacy

Input and files are processed in the current browser tab. Mingmist does not receive the content unless you independently share the result elsewhere.

Limitations

This is permanent raster redaction, not a forensic anonymization certification. The full output is rasterized and loses text and interactive structures. Users must still inspect thumbnails, filenames, and external attachments.

FAQ

How is this different from drawing black boxes?

The document is rasterized and selected regions are painted into the pixels, so original text and vectors are not retained beneath the boxes.

Can searchable text be preserved?

No. The output is fully rasterized to ensure redacted regions contain no original content.
